Cherish the Moments Walk

The Cherish the Moments Walk is a community event sponsored by the Northern Arizona Alzheimer's and Dementia Alliance (NAZADA) to raise funds for respite care for people affected by dementia and their caregivers in Northern Arizona.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who made the 2026 5th Annual Cherish the Moments Walk such a meaningful success.

To every walker, caregiver, family member, volunteer, sponsor, vendor, board member, elected official, community partner, and donor—thank you for showing up with compassion, kindness, and hope. Together, you reminded us that no caregiver should have to walk this journey alone.

A special thank you to Councilmember Khara House and Councilmember Anthony Garcia for joining us and recognizing the importance of supporting individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, along with the caregivers who dedicate so much of themselves every day.

We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this event possible—from those who spent months planning behind the scenes to those who volunteered their time on walk day. Every smile, every conversation, every donation, and every step taken will help provide respite care grants for caregivers throughout Northern Arizona.

Because of you, families will receive the support they need. Because of you, caregivers will have the opportunity to rest, recharge, and continue providing compassionate care for their loved ones.

This walk is about so much more than one morning at Buffalo Park. It's about building a community that cares.
